I Suoni delle Dolomiti (Sounds of the Dolomites) is a high-altitude music festival organised during the summer by Trentino Marketing Srl, with concerts throughout Trentino (the province of Trento).
This is a unique event that brings together musicians from all over the world in the most beautiful mountains of the Alps. The basic idea is simple and fascinating: to combine a passion for music and the mountains, for art and the environment, in a series of concerts dedicated to freedom and nature. The format involves a hike from the valley floor to clearings and hollows near mountain huts, natural theatres where music is performed in complete harmony with the surrounding environment.
The concert, at the end of the walk, is a meeting of art and nature. The musician climbs up with his instrument on his shoulder, sits on the grass or on a rock and plays in the midst of his audience, free from all conventions and structures.
Music as a universal language.
Participation in excursions and concerts is free of charge.
In case of bad weather, activities are usually rescheduled in the village.
Here is a list of concerts organised in Val di Fassa in collaboration with APT Val di Fassa.
