Val di Fiemme
18th edition of the cycling race combined with the famous Marcialonga, a winter cross-country skiing event held last January, and the running race (Marcialonga Running) organised for 5 September 2026. Starting and finishing in Predazzo, the Marcialonga Cycling includes two routes to choose from (80 km and 135 km). In the first case, from Predazzo you climb to Moena and Sèn Jan to take the road to the Carezza Pass. In the second case, once you arrive in Predazzo, you climb again to Moena and climb the San Pellegrino Pass. The roads are not closed to traffic.

Dolomites passes
On Saturday, 6 June 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., all Dolomite passes around the Sella will be reserved for cyclists. The Sellaronda Bike Day is now in its 20th edition, and the Sella, Gardena, Pordoi, and Campolongo passes will be closed to motorised traffic and reserved exclusively for cycling enthusiasts. Participation is open to everyone and does not require registration. We recommend riding counterclockwise.

Dolomites
On Saturday, 13 June 2026, the 16th edition of the Hero Südtirol Dolomites mountain bike race will take place on the trails and roads around the Sella group. Starting from Selva Valgardena at 7:10 a.m., it will pass through Canazei and Campitello di Fassa in the morning before heading to Val Duron. There are three routes to choose from, measuring 60, 71 or 86 kilometres. The roads will not be closed to traffic.

Two days of fantastic climbing at the ADEL indoor climbing centre in Campitello, featuring the final round of the Italian Lead Climbing Cup.
21st - 26th June 2026
Val di Fassa
Starting on 21 June, competitors will cover a total of 45 km in five stages, travelling along the sometimes challenging trails of the Val di Fassa. The competition is open to everyone, from professional athletes to Sunday joggers and families.

Canazei
The 6th stage of the Mountain Bike World Cup, the first to be held in Italy, comprising 14 stages across 9 countries. Spectacular descents for the world’s most daring riders. Thursday and Friday will be devoted to free practice, whilst Saturday and Sunday will see the action really get underway with the races. Village, team paddocks and expo area in the Ciasates area, near the Dolaondes aquatic centre.

Five days of festivities in honour of the patron saint, Saint Vigilius, organised by the town band. Bands from Trentino and international groups will take to the stage in the marquee at the C. Benatti sports ground, at the entrance to the village.
Sunday 28 June at 3.00 pm: parade featuring bands and folk groups from the Ladin valleys;
Saturday 4 July at 4.00 pm: parade of the bands of the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme
5.00 pm: grand concert by the bands.

Dolomites
For a few hours, the Dolomite passes become the setting for an extremely challenging cycling race. Starting from La Villa and finishing in Corvara (Val Badia), the 8,000 participants can choose between three routes (55 km, 106 km and 138 km). The roads between the Pordoi Pass and the Sella Pass (the section relating to Val di Fassa) are closed to traffic for most of the morning.
11-12 July 2026
Canazei
The weekend for sky runners. Three thrilling mountain races start from Canazei. Saturday 11 July at 7.00 a.m.: start of the 12K Trail and the Dolomythsrun Fassa Trail 42km. Sunday 12 July at 8.15 a.m.: start of the 28th edition of the Dolomythsrun SKYRACE from Piazza Marconi. Run to Piz Boè (3,152m) and back. Only for mountain goats.

Sellaronda
Five days of sport and unique fun. A cycling tour with the option of choosing between the entire Giro delle Dolomiti or individual stages, always discovering the climbs, landscapes, scents and flavours of the Dolomites! 49th edition.
On Tuesday 14 July, the second stage takes the competitors from the Sella Pass to the Pordoi Pass. The road is open to traffic, so the Highway Code must be observed.

Moena
Italy's oldest football team is once again based in Val di Fassa, preparing for the new Serie A season. The team's headquarters is the Carlo Benatti sports centre in Moena, a landmark for the red and blue's summer training sessions. The team, led by coach Daniele De Rossi, is staying at the Wellness Hotel Dolomia in Soraga.

Val San Nicolò can be reached on foot from Pozza di Fassa, or by shuttle bus (Vidor-Saùch route; runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; €4 single ticket; €6 return ticket).

Dolomites
I Suoni delle Dolomiti (Sounds of the Dolomites) is a high-altitude music festival organised during the summer by Trentino Marketing Srl. The festival features internationally renowned musicians and mountain lovers who, out of respect for the environment, join the audience and walk to the concert venues with their instruments on their shoulders. A journey towards art and nature. Participation in the excursions and concerts is free of charge.

Moena
The 24th edition of the running race combined with the famous Marcialonga, a winter cross-country skiing event held last January, and the cycling race (Marcialonga Cycling) organised on 31 May 2026. The running race starts in Moena and descends into Val di Fiemme. There are three race formats to choose from: 21 km, 26.5 km and relay.
11–13 September 2026
Canazei
Three days of festivities to celebrate the end of summer. Food, wine and folk music in the marquee set up in Via Pareda. On Sunday 13 September, there will be a grand parade of folk groups and Ladin bands through the streets of the village.
12 September 2026
Dolomites
Some Dolomite passes are closed to motorised traffic to make way for bicycles. The road is closed from Canazei towards the Sella and Pordoi passes from 9.00 a.m. to 4 p.m. No registration and no competition. Experience the Dolomites by cycling through the woods without noise and pollution.

Soraga and Moena
The weekend dedicated to one of Italy's most famous cheeses: Puzzone di Moena DOP. Food and wine tastings and the ‘Desmonteade’. On Saturday 19th in Soraga and Sunday 20th in Moena, the animals grazing at high altitude during the summer return to the valley, celebrated by locals and tourists alike.

At the Maria mountain hut, on Friday 16th October, masterclass to discover great labels from 2 p.m. (€55.00). On Saturday 17th October, Top Wine, food and wine symposium with the sommeliers of Fassa, with tastings and Ladin delicacies.
